Boost fooling
I know the boost foolers work really well on the cummins and I have one for the ford but I am not sure if it makes a difference and its still in the box. Are people running a fooler on the 6.0? Will the SCT do boost fooling?

i was told with the sct you dont need it.

There isn't a real need to do boost fooling on a 6.0. Most of the stuff that needs to be done can be done thru the computer. Either thru SCT(or equilivant) or thru computer programs like Autoenguinity or PT DIAG.

it might help if you werent runnin a tuner. You have an sct so you do not need one

Thanks guys I was wondering if it was needed or not. I was hoping the SCT did boost fooling. It came with the truck when I bought it and I just never put it on.

what is the need of a boost fooler?

keeps yor truck from defueling. has a auto de fuel switch that activates when computer sees too high of boost for to long. the fooler keeps the computer from actually seeing how high the boost actually is. letting you rod the crap out of the truck without de fueling. Im pretty sure the 6 liter can be fixed with a good tuner. dont need a mechanical fix like the 7.3
