new mbrp exhaust??

just installed it and just curious is it normal not to hear anything in the cab, its a 5inch turbo back system with 7 inch tip, looks nice and "mean" if you will, however i hear no change in the exhaust really, sounds cool first thing in the morning untill the turbo noise kicks in and then all you hear is the hiss from the tail pipe just like the stock one, took it under an overpass and honestly was not loud at all, my tuner is on the way i missed the ups guy on friday, but will the tuner help amplify the sound....long post i know just wanna know if its normal not to really hear anything, and the cat is still on...got emissions nextmonth and im usre thatin its self will make a lil difference but still? any info thank alot guys

the cat is what is killing the sound... and if you still have muffler that's it too... take both out and you will get the sound you want

If you just take the cat off you will hear a huge difference!! I have the mbrp 4" and have their muffler and no cat and it sounds freakin awesome! Everytime I go under an overpass I get on it cause I love to hear it

Would taking off the straight through muffler really make that much of a sound difference? (cat is already gone)
