Programmer Questions

I just bought a 6.0 and was wondering if there are any programmers or fuel modules I could get without having to worry bout blowing my headgasket or having to put new head studs on it. If I had the money I would take it in and have it done but I dont. Should I do that first or go ahead with a programmer.

I'm no expert but from what I have learned yo need to get a set of gauges and a programmer and just be careful not to get it too hot. I just bought a SCT which is the one mst recommended by PSD enthusiasts. You can get custom unes for it from Cale at BTS which he sasy are safe for trucks without headstuds.
