homemade 4" exhaust

Has anyone made a 4" homemade straight pipe? I was talking to a cummins guy did his own 4" exhaust on his dodge and it cost $100 from Napa.

well mine cost about $150
down pipe $90.
straight pipe $60.
stack free from work

the whole exhaust system. it took me about 2 hours to install with a buddies hand.

they had a recall on those exhaust stacks so i kept them all and have a couple thought about stacks but NO.

That is a sweet set up! Where did you get the down pipe from? and what does that sound like with no muff and exiting under the truck?

the truck sounds great had to dent the fir wall in a little it was rubbing. my turbo whistles alot more and deeper. i would recommend it for sure. im soon to put a WW on but it on backorder.

i would save the $$$ i did the diy and it sounded like crap. mbrp 4" kit is the way to go.i took the diy off and installed the mbrp
