SCT Questions

I am getting a SCT Tuner today and until I can get some custom tunes I am going to run the tunes provided by SCT. What I don't know is what are the tunes provided and whats the HP rating for each? Also, what options are available for adjustments on the 03 6.0 in the adjustment section? Like Rev Lim, shift points, tire size fo speedo ect........ I heard not all options are available

Thanks, Jason

I dont know about the options for the 03. But the canned tunes are Tow/Haul, Performance, and Street (economy). I have ran the tow/haul which did OK. And right now I am running the Performance and it is a world of difference!!! I am waiting on a 140hp tune from Cale right now. His are only $25 you should get a hold of him.

All I've ever run is custom files, but I think you'll be able to adjust shift pressure, tire rev's per mile, rev limiter, and WOT shift points if you want to, although I do not suggest to change the WOT shift points. I do know that with the canned tunes if you don't have your EGR already deleted it will function, and that's not a great idea with high HP files.
