the plans...

ok, first off there is no specific time frame on this list. It's just a rough plan for things to get done. (I should get my truck back from the dealer tomorrow after getting a new wiring harness installed, kind of a financial setback for the truck, but oh well.) I don't really want to go all out, I just want a truck that runs well and can keep me excited.

-Farmboys Diesel 5" exhaust (no muffler, no cat)

-EGR Delete (this can be done without lifting the body, right?)

-(my truck has 122,XXX miles and hasn't had to get head gaskets. So, I'll hold off on studs till I need 'em)

-Would a regulated return help out even if it's not pushing a LOT of power?

-SCT with tunes from Innovative, maybe. I may just go without a tuner. I don't know.

-S&B intake

-maybe an '03 turbo too

That's just the performance stuff. The other stuff

4" lift of some kind
35" tires
CB radio with dual antennas mounted by toolbox
DiProcol gauges (boost, EGT, oil)

and a little further down the road, RanchHand bumpers front and rear

OK, so for your thoughts, anything?

EGR delete can easily be done without lifting the cab. For what you're doing I wouldn't waste the money on the S&B intake.....the stocker is more than adequate and excellent protection. Spend the money on gauges and install them FIRST. If you're not doing a fuel pump then DO the regulated return and install it at the same time you do the EGR delete. Makes getting to the back of the heads easier to install the return fuel lines. 4" exhaust is MORE than adequate and MUCH easier to install. I have a 3.5" downpipe to 4" straightpiped and it's LOUD.
