Intake Question. Info Needed!

OK, here is the situation. When I purchased my truck it had a full k&n intake on it.

Now, I bought an AFE stage 2 kit that worked with the stock intake system. I believe it used the elbow and another part. Now, none of that came with the system when I bought it. So, it sat in my garage for the longest time.

I was told I needed to buy the AFE Torque Booster to make it work. I bought it and it is STILL not fitting properly. IS there something else i need? How many pieces are there to the OEM Intake system?

Can someone shed some light on WTF I need to buy. THank you!

The AFE stage II should come with a battery box, filter, and the tube which reduces from like 5" down to 3", and that should go right into the factory collar that is bolted to the bracket that is mounted on the valve cover.

Does the K&N system go all the way to the turbo, and no factory parts are left?

Yes, the k&n used no stock parts at all. So, I must be missing something.
