i would do a valve body trans fluid flush new filter with synthetic fluid and possibly a new torque converter

I don't believe anybody makes a upgraded valve body for the 5R110W trans. We have solenoids that can be upgraded.
Check out Suncoast Transmissions. |

I had a Factory Tech in my Supercharged 02 Harley F150 and liked it a lot.Yup there are upgrade solenoids like Doug's at gogo diesel. I would just buy a new tanny from NADP or BTS if it was me. I'm not real impressed with Suncoast or ATS stuff. |

how much would it run for an upgraded solenoid?..

Here's a link, but if your trans is slipping bad, its not gonna help.

meaning its probably not going to help, you mean i should probably just go ahead and buy a new transmission. forget trying to piece together solenoids or torque converters...i have a feeling thats what i should probably do instead lol
