Power Play MP8 Quesions

I'm back into man world with a 2005 F250 I just purchased after a few years off from a 99 F250 7.3. I've been looking at the myriad of different tuners, and everyone seems to agree that the SCT is the way to go. I bought an extended warranty on my truck and I'm looking for one that will not leave a footprint. The Power Play MP8 claims that, but I've found no good information on it other than the propaganda put out by the company. I just want a tuner that will make the truck run more efficiently, and not cause warranty problems. Any help would be appreciated

Any dealer can see if you have run anything on your truck if they really want to. The SCT is the way to go without a doubt. I went superchip to bullydog to SCT and there is no comparison. However, you have to get the custom tunes not the canned tunes. The most popular right now i would say are Innovative or Cale's Tunes.

Thanks for the info, I assume that the SCT will control the trans also, for proper shifting?

the SCT is the only one that truly controls the trans. Go with custom tuning as well for it
