Shock travel question.

im looking for some new shocks and i found 2 deals localy. Both are 14in travel shocks, which with a collapse length is 21in. My truck has a 8in lift, and the front with the car on the ground normally is 26in from the center of the bottom shock mount to the top, and of course will be shorter when the stem to eye braket is installed. Will about 3-4in of travel be ok, or dont risk it? The bump stop to the axle is about 4in. First set is fox, 4chrome reservoirs for 600 bucks and the other deals is 6 bilstein res. shocks for 725. also would getting a dual shock braket for the front increase the front shock mount length? its an 06 f250, and cant find a braket also anyone know who makes one? Icon makes a bracket i believe

thye only make it for pre-05 models with leafs up front, just like every other company. Not many companies make it for 06 models, wierd

I had (caryt) send me a quote on dual shock mounts... He said icon does make them... i think they were $180 for a set???? Send him a pm and check it out
