What kit are you talking about there are like 5 different ways of deleteing the EGR? if the vehicle past warranty the best thing to do is get rid of the EGR before it pops on you and you start pumping coolant in the engine. use the search function becuase there is about 50 different threads on the "EGR DELETE" that will probably answer alot of your questions.

There are numerous "block" kits but only one true way to correctly delete the EGR system.

There is not "EGR Delete Pipe." A full delete kit consists of a few pieces, one of which being a new up pipe.

First Coast Diesel Performance builds a great kit. Abrannan19 will be able to tell you more than you ever wanted to know about EGR Delete options.
