A Sct Question

I got the scoop on why our Liveload files are showing as invalid. We downloaded an update to our SCT dealer software. SCT changed the software so significantly that our customers would get an error message indicating the files were not valid Liveload files.

For anyone with an Xcal2 who receives or wishes to receive tuning files via email, from us or any tuner, you will need to update your Liveload software. The update has not yet been posted on their site but it is available as a sticky in their forum. Here is the link: SCT Flash - New version of LiveLoad 1/02/2007

Please remember before you update you must take your truck back to stock, turn off all screen savers and make sure the usb cable is inserted properly.

so the liveload 1.2.3 is out and needs to be deleted?

Give me a few minutes. I've got a box here and I'm going to update our user software. I'll let you know what version I get.

The files we sent to you last night should work perfectly with the update.

I got version 1.3.1 so ... yes, you will need to update and yes, the files we sent you last night should download right! Just in case, I'm keeping my fingers crossed LOL. BTW, the update is really quick.

Stump and anyone else for that matter. You will just need to download that file that Viv gave you a link to. You will need to save it to C:\Program Files\SCT\LiveLoad (tell it yes to over write). While working with Stump last night we noticed that I was running an old version of Live Load. Once I downloaded that file I show to be running v1.3.1. Your tunes will work fine (call me if you have issues or just want help walking through it).
