help for a newbie

i work at a auto shop and a buddy says hey i have some injectors and a fuel return line kit can you install it. i said yes. its a 2003 6.0 while doing to job he says there 190cc injectors on a compleatly stock truck. now it smokes like a fright train and he says it has no power. i did some looking on here i saw thats a no no. he doesnt want to get new injectors so what does he need to do to make it work. i know exaust, tuner, cold air kit, and prolly a turbo. but what should he use? plese help me help him.

190cc with what nozzles? ?? You NEED to know this to get a proper tune written!! That alone will help. After that you have a long list of sh!t to do.. about every third thread now applies to what needs to be done to support 190s.. fuel, trans, tunning, head gaskets, studs, and the list continues. . Might be money ahead to send them in to a builder and trade for 155/stock injectors

all i know is there pure power race2 injectors from industrial. i guess he does have studs and egr delete

Get an SCT programmer and have a custom tune written. . From IDP, TSD , Gearhead or Quick Tricks.. knowing the nozzle size is a MUST to have a good file written..

Whew, 190's before anything else? Is that salvagable with the proper tunes?
