billet wheel take away the whistle from my powermax?

looking into getting a billet wheel for my powermax but I love the whistle it makes with the stock wheel.. I would almost rather keep it stock just for the sound of a f16 rather then gain a little and lose the sound

2007 ccsb, Arp studs, stock HG, kc billet wheel powermax turbo, Banks intercooler kit, egr delete, stock downpipe followed by 4in straight, updated oil pipes & dummy plugs, stc fittings, SCT idp custom tunes, edge cts monitor, blue spring update, new oil cooler, elc coolant, airraid cold air intake, 35x12.5x18 Toyo mt's, rancho rs9000 shocks

The whistle is the exhaust side turbine, it won't affect it.

Yup... The Powermax should come with a billet single plain wheel from Garrett. It is really a must have for a Powermax. Really wakes it up.

Do it. Like stated above the whistle comes from the 10 bladed turbine. Believe me drivability and spool up around town and such is increased. Gets rid of a lot of the lag.

Can't say anything bad about my pmax turbo. Wakes up the neighbors, love the sound. And the quick response with the billet wheel. Is just awesome.

My next upgrade is a ported intake. While I got my ficm out, I'll get a atlas 40 on it. Injectors are getting rebuilt and upgraded to 155cc.

Should be a fun truck. I will be getting rid of my Powermax when my Stage 2 is finished. But it is a great turbo.
