Loading custom tunes

ok kind of a probably no brainer question. Ive got an x4 and custom tunes, when I go to load those to the truck I follow prompts and all is good. Now the step right when you give it the command to write it to the truck will have the custom tune name and a bunch of various parameters like tire revs, shift point miles per hour, stuff like that.

Do I need to put any parameters in these or is it just install the custom tune and forget about it.

MTW stage 1, 4" MBRP, IPR coolant filter, 05 front cover and water pump, everything else pretty much stock.

my shift points were included in my tune the only thing I did was adjust revs per mile so I could have an accurate speedometer and mileage

I have the x3 I am not sure if the parameters are different but the only thing i had to adjust was my tire size ... and my shorts after driving with a good custom tune for the first time
