Zoodad mod?

Has anyone here done that mod on their truck before? I have an 06 f250 xlt 6.0 and was wondering about that mod. Any suggestions or input on it? Thanks!

Easy and free. But nothing noticeable. Common sense points toward it allowing fresher air to reach the filter faster, but that seems to be the only thing you can prove.

Agreed
maybe We all do it because it is like a right of passage for a 6.0 owner ??

however it is most likely worthless but does give water and bugs a direct path to the filter LOL

How bad does water and tiger things like bugs and mud get in the filter? I do a little bit of mudding but nothing crazy you know?

I say do it! More air is better.

Air through an opening of 4in square is better then a 1in square.

I'm going to do mine simply because of the turbo I have. You can just hear that thing wanting more air.

if u put a screen over the cutout it can minimize the size of debris and keep snow out as well
