Boost numbers after tuning

Hey guys I just got my truck "bulletproofed" and installed Vivian's tow, looney, and looney wild tunes. This thing smokes like a train on both looney and looney wild to the point that she sent me a reduced fuel version that she gives to guys with bigger turbos. After talking with Vivian I have her stumped. Stock I make approx.17psi of boost, tow 20psi, looney 23psi, looney wild about 26psi. Should I be seeing the same boost numbers for each tune or is it normal to see more boost the hotter the tune. Also wot on looney wild is only good for about 200yd before I hit 1400egt I assume this is due to not enough at and stock exhaust. Asides from the smoke and egt this thing feels like a rocket ship.

I bought the supplies to make a boost leak detector but haven't had time to check. I believe I have an 03 turbo so the 24psi on looney wild should be about normal right? I'm just confused why on the lower tunes I'm seeing a lot lower boost

I'm no expert...but I heard tuners have ways of manipulating the map sensor parameters. Your boost may be higher than what you see on the dash. The only way to truely know is to plumb in a mechanical fuel gauge.

Also if the truck sits overnight it will let out a puff of black smoke when it first starts
