Edge CS slow

Hey guys I have a edge cs to monitor my truck. Once its going it seems to be quick with the read outs but when I go to start my truck and turn the key to the koeo position it takes forever for the edge to load the gauges. Sometimes a minute or more before it displays the gauges.

Is this normal or is mine having issues? I bought it new about a month or two ago and updated as soon as I got it.

2003 F350 Lariat 6.0L
MTW stage 1, 4" MBRP, IPR coolant filter, 05 front cover and water pump, everything else pretty much stock.

Mine does the same exact thing on keyup. It pisses me off. Sometimes the data freezes as well. I probably need to update it if I can find the disc.

Mine freeze's up every once in a great while. Have you gone on the site and did the upgrade?

BPD OIL COOLER W/COLD WEATHER PACK & BPD oil bypass amsiol filter

Sooo... You can update it from their site? My laptop at home took a crap and it used to have the update stuff on it.

Well sounds like its half way normal then. I may try updating it again and see if that helps.

Ive had it freeze on the gauge screen as well a couple of times.

Had my cs for few yrs and never froze on me I did one update about a yr ago and there's another one out but I just haven't gotten around to it. You can do a factory reset and write down all your maintenance reminders and then do a full update as well

-2004 F350 CCLB 4x4: Sinister Race solutions kit, CAT ELC Edge CS, SCT SF3, PHP Ficm programmer, Procomp, Rough country, and Nitto goodies.
-2004 excursion, banks exhaust, 03 turbo, afe intake
-2006 f350 king ranch, 10 in fabtech, 40in tires, sct tunes,

currently-1999 F250 SBRB 4X4 First 7.3 and feels good to be back in a diesel....

He he I saw my egts drop to 100 the other day. I was like "yay!". Time for a reset I guess.
