A no name intake elbow?

I found this on ebay. I dont see a name brand on it. Do you think its worth it? or is a name brand better?

you should get an intake elbow that has pre drilled holes so if you ever wanted to add a boost line, water/meth injections...

I have a machine shop and was thinking about making my own intake elbow. It would look like the one in the link above. Just didnt know if it would work as well as the S&B, CFM, etc

They have no useful purpose without having "Big" power, unless you need ports, but you can drill and tap a stock elbow just the same.

Save your money for better useful mods.

I just tapped my stocker for my boost guage, and plan on tapping it again for water/meth injection. They don't serve any purpose in a near stock truck like yours and mine. The lower EGT was the reason for me buyig one, and then after I foud out that it doesn't do much for the EGT's I sold it, and kept the stocker.

Intakeelbows.com has been around for a long time....never heard of any complaints from their parts.
It does have one port...I'm sure you could order one with more if you needed it.

Only issue I have heard is it is made from aluminum tubing and can be deformed by an overtightened t-bolt clamp. I have a CFM+ and have seen no benefit from it with simple no stud improvements. The short turn on the stock elbow sucks though. Lots of people have run those elbows thow and they have been around for quite a while.
