Nitrous on tuned truck? stock injectors/turbo

Alright so I have a nitrous kit that is just sitting around that I never got to use and i figure why not put it on the truck? I know i will need to get a lighter tune that what i have on there now to compensate for it, along with new jets and a new solenoid but over all it could be more power for cheap.

Do you think I will see an decent improvement in power with stock turbo and stock injectors? Or is the truck pretty much maxed out and I will need to install injectors in order to take advantage of the N20? Not much comes up on this when i search it.

On ur race tune, if you have any fuel left (black smoke). There is more power to be made... Jus need the fuel to make the power...

I have black smoke when i punch it but that's about it. It clears right up, thats with using the Atlas 40... idk what Atlas tune would be best for nitrous though.

I would probably get a nitrous specific tune though. im sure it wouldnt pull to much HP from the tune that it would nullify the effects of the N20

Also --- i just found an article from deisel power mag where they put nitrous on a tuned 6.0 .... put down 371 hp with the tune and 441 with the nitrous... with my mods i was thinking i was closer to 420-430 BEFORE nitrous... if im looking at a max of around 450 with it I wouldnt even see the point... I would at least like to hit 500 with it, or am I dreaming.

The hp should still increase but you will reduce the amount of torque substantially
