boost builder and tranny HELPPP

so i just purchased a bd boost builder, it came today and i installed it right away. at first really couldnt feel much, my truck blew more smoke becuase of it and maybe gained a pound of boost. anyway thats not what this is about, so i was driving around messing around with it seein what i have gained and i looked down at my factory gauge cluster and it says check gauge and the tranny temp is through the roof????? i look at my temp gauge i installed and its normal. so i let it sit for a couple hours came back out, and it was fine. 10 minutes later did the same thing. did i mess something up in the computer with this boost builder, or whats going on?

What exactly is this "boost builder," that might help us out some.

you plug it into your map sensor and a wire runs to your ecm in which you connect it to the apps sensor 2 signal wire. it is suppose to make your turbo spool up faster, also makes your turbo have less lag.

Sounds like its not much more than an electrical boost fooler, which won't increase boost or spool up, just allows you to build more boost than the pcm is set to allow.
