Angry SCT tuning with egr "on" ?

Anybody have experience with tuning with the "EGR" still functioning ?
What about with a welded cooler(capped )and the valve in place and turned on ?
It's over up here in Ontario . Our fabulous government is full steam ahead
with the crushing regulation.
We now have highly paid diesel "experts" randomly pulling trucks over and
hooking up to the OBD to see if the egr is turned off (and whatever else they
can read ) .
Apparently these "experts" can spot a bullet proof tube style EGR cooler by
looking and claim there not even legal .
If your truck looks flashy at all ( wheels lights and mostly if it's a diesel ) it's justification for a a cavity search.
If anything looks altered under the hood you better get ready.

Ive never looked at the BPD egr cooler in person, but I'd like to see the differences! I thought they were just modified stock units and all the changes were internal.

Man that sucks! Good luck....

I've seen them installed and you can't tell the difference . The guy that just had this happen to him was being snowed by a "I know more than you" attitude govt' f@#$ trying
to get him to admit something I'm sure.
Typical scenario angry , intimidating - you get the picture .
Unfortunately I'm going back to stock as I don't need the hassle . Too bad because my
truck runs fantastic with great fuel mileage considering the size. It passes etest like a breeze .

All governments are corrupted to the point of no return aren't they. All they know, all they work for is absolute control at any expense -- Even if it kills you. Sad state of affairs. Over the past dozen years it's many times worse, wonder what it will be in another dozen years.

That's really sad. So much for respect of personal property.

I would love to see how Californians crazy Carb organization or any other "diesel expert" could even possibly claim a bulletproof diesel egr cooler isn't emissions compliant... Bunch of ignorant retards. I get the whole wanting to be more careful with our earths resources but it's gettin to be to much lol..

2004 F350 CCLB 4x4: Sinister Race solutions kit, CAT ELC Edge CS, SCT SF3, PHP Ficm programmer, Procomp, Rough country, and Nitto goodies. SOLD

1999 F250 SBRB 4X4 First 7.3 and feels good to be back in a diesel....

Never any question about the legality (or quality ) of the product , like I said this " ahole "
was trying to lead this into admission of more mods etc. to trap this guy.
Getting way off track here , I trying to find out if it's viable to run the valve turned on
with tunes and other mods and let it run "dry" if you know what I mean
