block heater plug in?

does the 06 6.0 have a plug in for the block heater or not? i looked in my manual but i couldnt find it? i just thought it would help my truck start a little easier in -10 degree weather

I believe all 6.0 come with the block heater, but not all come with the plug

-10 thats warm, in beautiful fargo, nd it reached a nice brisk -55 last week..i had the same problem with my block heater, couldnt find the damn thing. brought it in the dealership to get on installed, they came to the waiting room 5 minutes later saying i already have one. anyway they are usually stuck up in the wheel well engine comp. dont know why. thats where they found mine.

The plug( to the motor) gets plug in by your cross member and runs along the passenger side. Check for the plug(for your house) by the oil cooler.

All of them have the heater but not all have the plug. Look in the passenger front fender well and you should see black wire loom clipped to the frame rail. If you don't see it then you don't have the plug.

Sorry guys I don't know much about computers and how to resize but do any of you know if this is what the plug looks like??

Never mind guys. This is it and have ordered cord for $17 bucks.

It is in the passenger side front tow hook area, has a rubber cap that covers the prongs... you may have to search for it but it is tucked up in there...

where did you get it for $17? they are usually like $85
