04 6.0 xcal3 question

my truck shifts a little hard it is a 04 6.0 i have the xcal3 i have question the shift point section in it what does it do i have went to sct but it dont explain it very well when i go through the menu i see the rearend gear ratio does it do it auto matic for you or do i need to put it in manualy nd how do i find out what mine is can any give me the detailed instructions about everything about the scanner thanks and sorry about the long post.

Yeah man when I 1st got the sct I put it on the highest and it shift really hard and in 3rd or 4th it would just red line till i let off and would then shift someone told me you have to "train your tranny" meaning put it on the setting you want and drive for a while till your tranny get used to the new settings worked for me now when i get on it shift fine.

Btw what custom tunes are you useing i know when i had the free spartan 6.0 one's it would make my truck shake really bad but would blow black smoke like crazy

if you got custom tunes, you dont want to be changing all that info they do that for you, who did the tuning ?
