banks 6.0 turbo

In the latest issue of Diesel Power they installed the Banks 6.0 powermax turbo. (this along with the banks tuner,water/methanol system, exhaust and intercooler).
I was just wondering is there anything special about the banks turbo? Does anybody run one? Any thoughts one way or another about this turbo?
And yes I know Banks is not the most popular on here, Im just trying to look around before I go droppin the kids college fund on a turbo.

Its the exact same as a regular p-max, it would be better to just get a stage 1 or 2 from any reputable builders

Yep, just a regular Powermax. IF you get a powermax, I HIGHLY recommend getting a billet wheel for it. They are pretty much garbage without one.

What these guys said. I've been reading your other thread and IMO you'd be best served by hitting up one of the Vendors and picking up a Stage 1 with the 13 blade turbine side. With what I've read about you towing and your current EGT problems I think that would fit perfectly. You mentioned being concerned about losing your "'03 whistle" in your other thread, with the 13 blade turbine you will lose that but you will gain faster spool up. Given your elevation, EGTs, and propensity to tow I feel that's a rewarding trade off.
