Looney tune and FICM tune??

Hi all, recently had to replace my FICM and the unit I bought from a guy I was told had a 100hp tune on it. I was told there would be no problems with the tune and FICM tune and there hasnt been. Truck is studded and deleted for background reference. Now the only thing I have noticed is that when I really get on it, I am only making a little over 20lbs boost compared to before when I would bump along the red line in the boost guage. Thoughts? Should I get the FICM reflashed to stock? Am I just ok to run it? Any answers would be helpful!

If you are reading boost via map sensor then it is probably your tune. There are some variables to the boost reading from the Ecu, I bet if you put a sensor on your intake hooked it to manual gauge your readings would be spot on. Another way to know if it is your tune is remove the tune go back to stock and see what read. I would not get wrapped up around boost readings unless there was a problem. If you had a boost leak you would know it, the truck would lack power or make some odd sounds.

Agreed php Hercules runs hot if you get on it and if you look on their website they strongly recommend monitoring egts. This is really critical when towing. Do you have a stock exhaust and turbo? If you do I would not get on her often, could melt the turbo turbine.
