SCT tuner ????? Livewire--X3???

I have had some tranny and trouble and am getting it fixed. I have a 04 250 that has had arp studs installed, with 4" exhaust, and intake, zoodad lol been running a Bully Dog Power Pup w/ outlook monitor with 80,000 miles, my truck fell in the trans recall with the reverse planetary being rebuilt( but my failed b/f the recall was done so basically I got a patch job after metal went thru my tranny). I ve been lead to believe that the Power Pup could be what was partially responsible for some of my tranny woes b/c of the lack of trans tuning (this coming from a tech at suncoast in case you were wondering) Their tech said they only recommend SCT and Diablos to be run with their trannys bc tuning. I am thinking of going with the SCT llivewire with of course custom tunes (from Innovative Maybe) but I have read in the forums that the x3 is better why??? I guess the livewire has gauges but can it defuel for boost or high EGTs? I can run my current outlook monitor for gauges if this is the only benefit of the Livewire, or buy new gauges. Can some one explain why some think the x3 is better? I occasionally tow a 8000 to 10000lb trailer. What tunes might some recommned that has experience with them? Any takers. Any opinions will be appreciated.

I believe the livewire's had a few bugs in them, plus there is no point to waste your money on the livewire if you already have a set of gauges
