SCT Extreme

This is going to be a tangled question. I going to be buying a new head unit for my truck. I believe I have decided on the pioneer AVIC-F700BT. I have plans for a tuner in the future. If I get the SCT Extreme with the bluetooth communication could I have the screen in my radio display the info from the computer?

What info on what computer? Are you asking if yoru pioneer bluetooth can be used as gauges also? If so, I highly doubt it.

i doubt that will work... which extreme are you talking about? the only way to go on a 6.0L is the X3 or livewire.. but i still prefer the X3 and a regular set of analog gauges...

The touch screen extreme. It is new and wireless. Thought it might be able to sync with the bluetooth in the radio I am going to buy when my truck gets out the shop.

ah k...

well its not out yet.. and i would wait on buying it until Eric comes out with custom tunes on it....

if not you just gonna get somewhat generic tunes... and for the 6.0L custom tunes are def the way to go

From what I've read on it, it doesn't make any mention of being able to do custom tunes at all. It just mentiones being pre-loaded with "dyno-proven" tunes. It's like some of their tuners that are just loaded with economy tunes or power tunes, just a cooler gadget.

I would also be a little leary of being it when it comes out due to the fact it's all wireless. Being new and everything, a lot of things can go wrong with it being both new and wireless. Just my opinion though.
