Bulge @ bottom of DP

I was rolling around under the truck today and noticed a have a large bulge possibly 10 or 15 inches long and about 4.5 inches wide.

The truck has a banks exhaust system so maybe its the resonator?

Exactly. Banks is the only one I know of that put that in their systems.

Thanks. Im going to cut that chit out and see if it makes a difference on my 03 turbo.

It will...it was put there specifically to cut the whistle.

Yep that's what banks said. Although I have heard other 03 turbos sound the same. So I bet its just another banks gimmick. Hopefully tomorrow we will see.

They have the D.P. without it if that helps with getting rid of it.
