fuel pump question

OK guys I'm running 175/30 warren injectors and a regulated return on stock pump. My fuel pressure is good until about 40-50% throttle. At that point it is dropping to around 40 psi and at wot it is around 20 psi. My question is will a new stock pump help? I want to do a a1000 or fuelab with sump and bowl delete but my wife is not going to go for me spending another $1000 right now so guys with these or larger injectors does a new stock pump keep up or at least come close? Also do I need to get a motor craft or has anyone tried the cheaper ones the parts stores carry? Want to spend as little as possible as it is just a temporary fix until wife settles down a little and I can get the goodies.

Maybe try a sump now or even the 6.4 pump feeding the 6.0 pump

I will probably go ahead and put a sump on before In case its the draw straw that is the problem wether its plugged or whatever but I still think my pump might be weak. This winter it struggled quite a bit but with warmer temps it has been ok just not what I think it should be.

Look into the 6.7 pump you already have the rr. You can find the 6.7 pumps a lot cheaper than a1000 setup it flows and filters extremely well. This is the route I will go just a couple things to finish before starting another project.

The 6.7 isn't proven yet. Sure people are doing it, but I wouldn't say longevity is there just yet on our trucks.

What do you think the down fall/weakness to the 6.7 pump would be?
