Transmission problems. Tc??

So I'll go ahead and get to the point I'm running a 68mm powermax from rudys and 190/75 injectors from warren diesel tunes from RCD ya ya ya. I've been told I should be pushing around 450-500hp on street tune.. Well lately transmission has been acting up shifting wierd from 2-3 and sometimes 3-4 and when driving highways press and punching it. 4 out of 10 times I hit redline and seems like it's not in gear. And just tonight I noticed when taking of from a stop-normal acceleration it seems as if it's in 3rd gear/slipping then it will catch and take off after a big clunk..and when in reverse ins almost like a pulsation of it catching and slipping.. All stock tranny and tc I know I'm on borrowed time but with my funds right now I can't afford to do a full sun coast rebuild. Any ideas on a way to know for sure what is wrong with it? It's a daily driver so it can't be down for long if it's a tc I an on getting a triple disk for now until I can afford a full rebuild. Any ideas comments or suggestions? Thanks

I'd baby it till u can afford full rebuild. Pulling trans to put a new torque convertor will be a waste, time and labor, then your getting dirty trans fluid in your new convertor, so when you actually get to rebuild the trans you'll be pumping dirty fluid from the torque convertor into the rebuilt trans.. Do it right the first time and save $ and time.
