EGTs with 190 ccs

Anyone running 190s on a stock turbo. heard lots of guys have it with no problems but I tow alot and dont want really high EGTs tow a 7000 lb boat. Im getting the headstuds EGR delete and FASS pump at the same time. also, anyone running a fass on stock injectors if I were to wait to upgrade the indectors at a later time? just wondering if there is much of a performance gain....

yes plannig a turbo upgtade shortly, lust havent seen anything that looked really great other than the black widow hot street compound. mabye a 66 in the meantime but not for a year or so...really need the studs and egr delete as my truck is puking and loosing coolant really fast. have to top it off every few days.

buy everything through eric and have him tune it. you should be fine for awhile if they are true 190's. just make sure you get the new nozzles.

o i didnt see that you want to pull a boat. I would call and talk to whoever your gonna have tune it. that is your best bet.

I have the 190's and stock turbo..I can tow all day long the trailer in my signature and our 8k lb backhoe with NO egt problems at all.

I will NOT recommenced anything from BWD, please steer clear.

sounds good Adam, just wanted to hear what everyone thought..... had a buddy who told me 190s were way too big for a stock turbo but have also heard several people say it works great. if that trailers not giving you problems I doubt my 24 ft center console fishing boat will. We'll talk mon.

like we stated before some injectors flow more than they say they do. make sure you get a good true set of 190's and some good tunes and you will be fine.

If you live in a mountainous area I would wait on the sticks till you can get a turbo. You can definitely tow, but you just gotta watch the egt's and control them with your right foot. With an upgraded vgt towing #8,000 through WV I would have to let off on a few of the higher passes. I have a nice vgt for a reasonable price if you are looking for something to tide you over.
