best programmer????

ok well im getting an 03 f250 6.0 ex cab long bed 6 speed.. and im wonderin in yalls opinion what is the best programmer or chip i can get thank

Early 1999 F250
Ext Cab Swb
Foil Delete
Dyi intake
5" dp back exhaust
37" boggers/ leveling kit
AD injectors
DI custom 4 pos. chip
Big dreams on a 20 yr olds budget

sct w/custom tunes.

2004 F-250, ZF-6, 03 turbo 4" mbrp exh. PHP reprogrammed FICM, sct X3, egr delete, auto meter ultra lite boost & pyro, arp head studs, firestone destination m/t's. ccv mod, mag hytec diff covers, 35% tint, dieselsite coolant filter, cat elc, B&W gooseneck hitch.

its hard to say the best... but one of the best programmers out their for the 6.0L is a custom tuned SCT with innovative tunes like this:SCT X3 Custom Innovative Diesel Tunning

but dont forget about your gauges as well...

noone makes a chip for a 6.0L... thats only for the 7.3L

I would like to know why Banks has not published the test results for SCT and did all the others while comparing the Soot contents of exhaust. Banks was better then Stock. Hypertech was not far behind, next was Superchips and then the others were way off.

2005, 6.0L, 6 Spd Std, 3.73 Rear End, F250SD, Extended Cab, 4 x 4 Long Bed. 2008 extension mirrors. GPS/TV/DVD/CD/Rear Cam/Radio installed, Max Energy programer by Hypertech, and Fuel Pressure Gauge. ScanGaugeII for 60 plus XGauges, and MPG. ELC Cat EC-1 Coolant, Pull a 39ft 15500Lbs 5th Wheel Camper Trailer. Mileage Avg is 20MPG, and pulling 12.6MPG.

prob because the SCT is a superior product with custom tunes... they are not gonna publish anything that is gonna win over their products...

get me someone that has tried custom tunes and banks or any other over the shelf product that has gone back.... i would say its pretty much close to noone...

and until you have tried custom you cant really say that banks is better... out of all the 6.0L owners on the Org i would say 90% of them that have tuners have some sort of custom tunes on it... only people that run generic tuners is the ones that believe the hype and go off what they read on magazines or see on TV

i stand by what i said that a custom tuned SCT with innovative tunes is by far one of the best tuners you can get..... way better than any generic tuners

What's your best guess as to why?

MAYBE THE SCT WAS TOO "SOOTY" AND IT HAULED TOO MUCH BUT! LOL

oh, i also blow banks tuned trucks doors off. i run some of their stuff but not their tuner.

Could it be that the 2 are together on the deals, One talks cleanliness and the other is Absolute Power. Sometimes Companies get together for good business. Gail was realy mad on the the others in his add.

Don't believe the banks propaganda & hype. SCT w custom tunes is the Chuck Norris of all programmers for the 6.0!!!!!!
