6.0L Performance Parts Discussion What has or has not worked for you?

What would you guys get?!

Okay I am new to the diesel trucks and I bought a 2005 6.0. It has a 6 inch lift with 37 inch tires. I have a 5 inch exhaust system, and ladder bars. So I have saved up 5 grand for performance mods. So if this was your truck what would you guys do to it for performance? Thanks

Well I believe you posted in the wrong section these 6.4 guys might be able to help you though. But for 5k I would do some SCT custom tunes from innovative diesel, 03 turbo, egr delete, ARP headstuds, and S&B intake. Also get some gauges first thing, you need to keep an eye an the EGT's, prob get boost, trans temp, and pyro. Depening on if you are paying for labor or not that would be about 5K.

I would say an Xcal3, intake, egr delete, vgt ss, and headstuds whether they be h-11's or arp's. This would make for fun and stout package as well as being pretty bulletproof

I would definetly go with Sct X3 with custom tunes, Guages (boost,tranny,egt) Arp head studs, Egr delete, You could save a little now on the intake as the stock system will support 400-500 hp easily, but you can do intake if ya want.
