New Fel Pro Head Gaskets

Has anyone heard about the new Fel Pro head gaskets? I saw them at a show and they are claiming they are superior to the oem. Fel Pro has made quality gaskets over the years it will be interesting to see how this turns out.

Black Onyx also claimed to be better then OEM when they came out. Don't believe everything you read but if you want to test those gaskets on a high HP studded 6.0 and post your findings I'll subscribe to that thread.

We have installed some at our shop they look real similar to OEM. They have black stripes where the blue stripes are on OEMs. They are MLS gaskets. But the truck was stock so the verdict is still out.

Rcd has a set of mls now too. Fel pro is top notch in the gasser world. Would be nice to have an alternative to ford.

Is there a problem with the OEM gaskets??? No there isnt. Why are people always wanting to try a new gasket when there is a gasket out already that is proven to work well. Is saving $50 really worth the chance?

Uhh... Yeah. If rcd and/or fel pro measure up. Why would you not want to save money.

Shark diver must clearly have a stock truck... anything above 600hp is not so bulletproof, remember. No matter how much makeup applied to the pig, its still a pig, for instance, 4 bolts per cylinder. The heads don't have enough clamping force to be sealing baskets, even OEM. My money is at hyper ax o ringed gaskets and ARP 625s
