SCT Tuner ?

Hey folks,
I am interested in changing my tuner from the Edge Perf to the SCT from Innov Diesel. After reading that the Edge would harm my tranny. My question is, what do I have to do to make the swap ? I tow fairly often, and my 05 F250 is a daily driver, plower, but I like the performance tunes. Do I have to get my truck (dealer) flashed, then start with the SCT, or can I just unplug the Edge and load the SCT ?
My truck has an aftermarket intake and straight 4" pipes no kitty.
Also, is the "extreme power upgrade- $80+ " the one to go with ?

definatly get an extreme tune then pick a tow or some other way less fun tune for the work. no need to get reflashed. just get rid of edge and call Innovative and tell Eric what you have and what your wanting to do and he will amaze you with the difference in a custom tuned sct and that old edge.

06 F250 4x4 ecsb, lowered 2", 6 Autometer Phantom 2 guages, Accufab Elbow, Zoodad, Airaid , Magnaflow 4"dp, 5" pipe 7" short stack, Studs, Egr delete, sneaky pipe, regulated fuel return, 6.4 banjo bolts, Moderate FICM from Innovative, High idle and foglight mods, Bilsteins, Sulastic shackles, DIY Harley headlights and traction bars. 8.76 in the 1/8th

i would def do the change....

but before you install it remember that you need a set of guages....

i would not tow in the extreme tunes but you can easily change between tunes pretty quickly... i def recommend it...

Raul will hook you up.

Def get the Innovative tunes and definitely get the extreme upgrade, you will thank yourself later

One problem though... your rear tires are going to HATE you!

You might want to talk to Cale at BTS about his tunes for the 6.0 Only tuner I'd use on a 6.0.

Yea it's cool I just want to know why so maybe I can consider their tuning also. If the reason is good enough I'll give a call. If it's biased then I'll save my $.
