Propane Injection

What's the deal with propane injection systems. I don't see many of the diesel performance dealers offering it. Is there a reason for its lack of populairity or availability? Is it a bad idea to add this system? Looks like it would clean up your exhaust, less soot, better for egr valves, etc. I don't see many people using it.

From what I gather.... at least with the 6.0 guys.... not a good idea. Nitrous is a better option. I wouldn't do either without studs though. I guess the propane dries the pistons out real bad.
