Quadzilla vs. Others

Hello,

I was wondering what your thoughts are on the Quadzilla products vs other products like SCT etc.

The reason I ask is that I can get the Quadzilla products for a decent price, and was planning on installing the Adrenaline module with the Pulse.

I do not plan on racing the truck, so the extra added power is just for bragging rights mostly, and smoke the tires when that feeling hits you. I do not plan on towing heavy trailers either, so I wonder if SCT is something I need, if I can get Quadzilla at a much better price than SCT (my brother is a dealer for them)

We have installed Quadzilla in probably about 50 trucks, and none of them have had any issues with the product, and most have seen 15-25% drop in fuel consumptions plus the added power of course.

thanks

Everyone here is in a love fest with SCT. I have a Bullydog pup and i thought it was good. I do like that SCT does tranny programming. Why do the others not do tranny programming????

SCT w/ custom tunes will blow the quadzilla out of the water.

Most the people on here will say dump it and get a custom SCT. Its up to you though if you get it for cheap and aren't really looking to get crazy power gains then go for it. I haven't heard anything bad about there programers but cant vouch for them either.

I have run a quad and now run the sct. I didnt have an option of running the adrenaline which seems to be on par on paper with the sct. I would like to see someone actually use it and give feedback. Yeah my sct is good and it beats the hell out of that old quad I had but w/the adrinaline it looks like they have stepped up thier game.

I ran an older 160 hp Xzilliraider module while using the SCT for a tranny tune. I was very impressed with the Quad performance while driving and towing. The power comes on much lower in the RPMs than the SCT tuning. The Quad will fall off at the higher RPMs so this is where the SCT really shines.
I'd suggest trying out the Quad and if you don't like the tranny shifting consider an SCT for both power and tranny tuning.

HeavyAssult mine seemed opposite and had no bottom end and the tranny seemed to slip with the top end power. I also had the 160 hp module. I sold it to a buddy who loves it though.

thanks guys. I'm installing the XZT+ module sometimes this week. It gives you 65 HP, but gives you way better gas milage, which is what I am looking for at this point.

I will post here if I see the same difference others I have spoken to see. I know they kick *** on the Ram's (I personally know 2 ppl that ran them, and spoke to few others)

thanks

ok, installed (with my brother's help...ok he did it) and old Xzillaraider XZT I had laying around. 65 rwhp gives a very nice boost, but what I was looking for are the mpg gains, which in our experiences have been from 10%-25% increase. I will be very happy with 15% increase on my truck (I'm on around 12mpg city driving).

Anyway, I will keep you posted. I will eventually get the SCT, but since I had this one already, I thought I might as well use it.
