studded info

just been playing with the stud tune from eric. i asked him to give me more on the shifts considering my tranny is very stout. i felt like i wanted a little more so i raised the shift pressure on all shifts to +15%. man, this tune is flat wicked! i will drive it for a few days and mod some more if needed.

You are aware that each time you reload the tune, the tranny has to start all over again? I would drive it for more than a couple of days to give it time to adapt.

thank you for the reply granny.i am aware of the adaptive learning.i have a couple of days and as many cold starts as possible in that time frame. i have had an sct for quite awhile and am familiar with my truck. what i did and the way i went about it seems to be working. an example that maybe i took to the extreme; new tranny with all the upgrades was kept on stock file for 1 month and approx. 5,000 miles before i poured the fuel to it. like i said probably extreme but the tranny feels wonderful. i have killed several by no break in period. may not be needed, but this time the tranny is incredible .again granny, thank you very much for looking out.

No problem! I am glad you are having fun with your new tune. I know what it feels like to get a litte more from a tune after upgrades. I did the same when I got my new sticks. You just can't help for smile alot! LOL

oh yeah, best of all ;less than $2,500 ( edited-sorry fellow org memebers) i was just asked if available to the public at that price. that price did not include the billet shafts (separate rebuild- broken parts) or custom pump. it seemed that the lowered stall and pump with 37's and 3.73's is what broke the shafts. i have $3,500 total in the tranny and it is not dead yet. hope it lasts!
