Can you accidently switch performance files with your stock file, in the tuner?? If so, can it be fixed, and what would cause this??
The reason I ask is because my dealer has kept me in the dark as to what he's doing exactly and i'm in the process of getting one major issue worked out. He lost my stock file....i ended up going to a Ford tech yesterday and he set my truck back to stock. Immediatley afterwards I went back to my dealer to get my tuner reprogrammed using my new stock file. Now, i'm almost 100% positive that my Max performance file is actually the stock file, and my stock file is actually under the Max performance.
I just want my truck and tuner to be able to successfully switch between tunes and stock. After I get that straight, I'll install innovative's performance files.
Ayy Carrumba!!!
Here's background:
I have an XCAL2, I bought it about 8 months ago from a certified SCT dealer and he put his tunes he says he made. I didn't know anything at all about tuning when I bought it, and now I have a pretty solid basic grasp.
