Looney vs. Extreme Race opinions??

Are there any real benefits to Eric's Extreme Race vs. DJ's Looney? I would like to hear some input from people that have used them both. I run DJ's Looney as my daily driver now and would like to know if the Extreme Race is really worth $80. Seems steep to me, but if it is worth I would like to give it a try. Let me know!

Dj's tunes are good, but they dont compare to Erics. I ran Looney for a while on my truck and always had some weird shifting issues along with basically an on/off switch for a throttle. Got some of the Innovative tunes and the throttle control is worth the price alone, and well the transmission seems to like it better also.

You get what you pay for, and I consider Eric's tunes well worth the money.

I have a few from both and my truck seems to run better on the Looney, but Erics will run as good

Does anyone one know if you absolutely HAVE to be studded to run Eric's tunes? I run an SCT Flash (SF2) right now and the "Street" tune is the fastest one...but "Performance" is right under it and smokes more...I'd like MORE smoke and more power...I think Eric's the way to go...input???

P.S. SORRY TO HIJACK THE THREAD!!!

No its not a pre-req. to be studded for Eric's race files, but its always a good idea. No guarantees on whether or not you'll have troubles.

I've got several looney tunes including a very hot wild file. I also run Eric's Xtreme race as my daily driver. My truck likes it better. Never ran them at a track to see which one's faster. Eric does have much better shifting with the Xrace then the looney files.

How do these compare to a Bullydog powerpup? I am very impressed with them and would love more if those are better. I have had mine on for 100k miles and LOVE IT!

I tried to run Erics, but never got a tune from him so i just stick with my dyno tune from DJ. Plenty of power for me. I'm not going to spend $80 unless i know it works good in my truck.
