egr cooler delete

is anyone running the 6.0 with a egr cooler delete & if so , how is it working?

dude that is one of the best things you could ever do to a 6.0. and if you don't want to go through a full delete, then you can always run a "sneaky pipe" or some similar setup up.

what about your egt , does it run higher than before , also does your mil stay on?

about half the org is running it id be willing to bet...its awesome, gets rid of a bad area on the 6.0 and after that its good to go...that and headstuds and the truck is flawless...id recomend it in a heartbeat

Edit:

EGT's drop because your not letting the hot exhaust gasses back into your intake gasses,

and your milage should stay the same and possibly go up a small amount...nothing bad about that mod at all

thanks for the help guys and thanks for the welcome! i have a few friends running the 6.0 and i wasn't sure about the delete kit. i work on these all day for a living , and your right, one tough engine! the egr coolers are also the root cause for oil cooler concerns! oh , don't want to upset anyone but i drive a 2001 7.3 with 05-07 frontend , love the look !! thanks !!!!!!

did a full egr delete last month.not sure about mileage gain but the truck starts and runs smoother.

thats the best thing you can do for your 6.0 truck that and custom tuning.
