turbo

hey guys iam just wondering can you put a 7.3 aftermarket turbo on the 6.0? if so whats your guys recommended advise about it?

No you cant, they are different designs. 6.0s have a Vgt turbo

actually there are some different style pedistals that they make. i know there are some made to use a t4 setup which is pretty common. one of the main things is that the 6.0 turbo flows the opposite way of most turbos.

i see....what you guys recommend for a turbo for the 6.0 then? iam looking for something in the performance area with a loud whistle and quick spool up but at the same time not spending alot of money but a fair price...any ideas?

well the cheapest aftermarket turbo i have seen is the industrial injection hypo turbo. its like elites vgt ss turbo but cheaper. maybe try an 03 turbo.

03 turbo? like off of a 7.3 or 6.0 and rebuild it? where a good place to get the 03 off of ebay?

o3 turbo not much performance gain, but a nice whistle though.

I installed an '03 turbo and it whistles like crazy. Cheap Whistle!! I think that's all yer gonna get though. Several to be found on eBay. I have a spare .....
