coolant problem please help

My brotherinlaw has an 06 psd, he noticed coolant leaking from the cap of the coolant resorvoar, he replaced the cap with a new one, still leaked. He replaced the entire resorvoar, new. Still leaks through the cap, any help would be very apriciated sorry for the bad spelling

Could be either headgaskets and or EGR cooler. probablly headgaskets if the degas bottle is presssurizing and leaking ...

Head gaskets are shot would be my guess get them check out.

how many miles, how many mods, does it happen when the truck is worked hard as in towing, or all the time. chances are head gaskets are giving up. have a buddy that did mods and tows 14k to races, every time towing pushed coolant, found fire rings on 4 cyls burnt. truck ran fine. new gaskets and arp stud kit fixed for good so far happened @55k truck now has 162k no more head problems
