Question Can I space front axles?

So after much research I've yet to get a definitive answer on why I can't put spacer blocks in my front axle as well as my rear. I'm not looking for anything crazy, only 1" blocks up front and 1 1/2" blocks in the rear for a little more clearance on my tires. Will 1" blocks up front really cause any problems?

Due to the force placed on the front axle during braking and steering you are much more likely to have a block get spit out by either the u-bolts stretching or snapping from the increased leverage the axle has with the blocks installed.

Front blocks are illegal in some areas for those very reasons.

I would recommend a mini spring pack as it safely gets you the height since it's attached to the stock leaf pack via a new, longer center pin.

I've already got add-a-leafs up front so I doubt the new center pins in a mini pack would fit unless they're rediculously long.

If you only want an inch and already have 1 additional leaf in the pack, you can use half of the mini spring pack (4 leaf mini pack, 2" height) and the center pin will be plenty long.

Or do a hanger and shackle.
