Fords limited slip

How can you tell which differential you have?Ford corp or Sterling,from what i have heard one is 10.25 (sterling) and 10.5 (ford) By the way it's a 2005 f250 FX4 XLT CC SB.

No one?reason i ask is i need to replace my stocker i need some input so i can order one or find one on ebay or if someone here as a true track assy for sale

They are the same axle. 10.25 is in older trucks and was tweaked to the 10.5. If you have SRW you have a 10.5.

Yep. Superduty SRW is a 10.5 sterling. the OBS SRW is a 10.25 sterling.

The 2 pinion gear set is the older 10.25 and the 3 pinion is the 10.5. Pretty much the same housing as mentioned above, but they have slight differences.
