SCT Pro Racer Tuning Software

Has any body used this or are using it ? How do you like it if you are? Is it for custom tuning your own vehicle instead of having to buy the files from a dealer ?

I know of a couple of folks who have bought it and from what I have heard, it ain't all that, if you don't know what you are doing. Tuning a 6.0L is not as easy as you think it would be.

its way easier to just pay the pro's to write the tunes.

I bet it is intimidating at first, but most things are until you learn, I thought it would be interesting to try, they do hold seminars to learn how to tune your vehicle also. Thats if you have time. It would also help you to learn your truck more and tune it to your exact needs instead of telling somebody what it is doing and having them interpret what you are talking about and make a tune. Then maybe get what you want to happen.. It was just an Ideal any how. Thanks for the posts everybody.
