dont get a 4 inch. Mine never fit right. I am going to be switching t a 3.5 inch downpipe this weekend. It will work for a while but once it gets hot it will distort and hit your cab. If you are lucky like me it will hit both your transmission and firewall. Look at me thread in this section.
You dont need anything bigger than a 3.5 inch downpipe in reality as well. I though bigger was better but it came with consequnces |

here my thread
4 inch downpipe question and band clamp |

I have a 4 inch downpipe and don't have a problem with rubbing. Some truck just rub and rattle and some don't. Before I tightened everything down it looked like it would rub but i just adjusted everything from turbo back so it wouldn't. Took very little effort. I've heard of people smashing the the cab seam to prevent a rub.
I was a pain to get it up in place but all is good. |

Mine went right on no problems it that sence. it was like 6-7 months later that when the heat distorted the downpipe that it hit the cab. Soem people get lucky with theire. i guess ti depends on the brand of downpipe as well
