Anybody try 6.0 Spartan tunes.

Has anyone tried the free Spartan tunes for the 6.0? They have them archived on their website free to download. I know everyone raves about the 6.4 tunes and since I'm a DJ's customer I have to find new tunes elsewhere.

I did. Went back to my Innovative tunes after a couple days. They both have their pros and cons but I personally prefer my innovative tunes.

I'm running the extreme street from Spartan, simply for the fact that I don't have the $80 to burn on Innovative Diesel. I like it so far, it'll roast the tires if I want, and shifting points aren't too bad. However, I've never run the tunes from ID so I guess I'm kind of ignorant to the subject. I do plan on going with ID in the future though, just based on the rave reviews that everybody has given them.

Ive ran both and they are both great. If your gonna run a Spartan tune stick with the aggressive street tune or hybrid race.....I now run innovative tunes, a bit better shifting but the Spartan tunes seem to have more power to me. IMHO

I've never run ID tunes, I'm running Looney right now. I guess theres only one way to find out how they compare.

You will notice a huge difference in shifting between what you are running and Spartan's tunes. You will most likely need to adjust your shift pressures on the Spartan tunes. The thing to keep in mind is not all trucks will react the same to the same tune. Each truck is different, for instance, my truck hates the hybrid tune, but loves the Stock Plus tune, go figure? i like it compared to canned sct & spartan is a night and day diff.

Thats how I felt for a few months this summer. I felt like the Spartan agressive street had something lacking and the hybrid was too jerky from a dead stop, also started bad when cold. I decided to call Innovative and spend 80 bucks to see if what everyone raves about is true. And it is, bought extreme street, which would beat hybrid in a race, gets better mileage and is well mannered if not trying to race. Its worth the 80 bucks over and over...
