Which injector?

Been doing some looking and finally got my truck studded and got money burning a hole in my pocket. I'm thinking 190-225's. I figure if I go with a 190 I won't have to mess with the hpo system. With 190's I assume I'd be limited to about 600 hp. But with 225's I could possibly reach 700. Also which nozzle should I choose? Not gonna be doing any towing, it's an early 04 ccsb if that makes a difference. Any info is appreciated!
Thanks, jdiamond

Early 04 CCSB, studded, deleted, 190/75's, powermax, warren comp plus, some other stuff

I would ask first what you do mostly with your truck and how you use it first.

Do you ever tow?
How heavy do you tow?
How will you use your power (street, dyno, sled, etc)?
Do you mind a smokey truck?
How soon do you plan on upgrading your tranny?
Do you ever plan on upgrading your HPOP?

190s are usually fine with a stock hpop... like you said 205-215 is at the limit of the stock pump. You could actually experience a power loss if you go to big and lose ICP. Twin pumps could solve that problem but it is an extra added cost.

190s seem to be able to hit 600-650 pretty easily these days with a good running truck and a stage 3 turbo. If your goal is to hit 700hp then you might need to go bigger in size and open up the wallet a little more to some of the other mods. Most guys say that a stage 3 turbo clean up 190s really well.

I would not go too crazy on the nozzle size, but that will also depends on where you buy your injectors. Every nozzle is different. I know I had my 285/75s flow benched at right around 240cc. That means that a 75% nozzle is plenty big to dump anything smaller than 240cc injectors. A 190/30 would be pushing it on the small end. So IMO a 190/50 or 190/75 would be a good combo.

Here are a couple videos of a guy running around 190cc injectors and a stage 3 turbo.

This was not a boosted launch. It was just a street truck taking it easy at the track

Here was the dyno run backing up the track numbers

Hope that helps a little

Never tow and my truck before I ripped it apart was real smokey. Don't really like it but I can live with it. And I'll try to keep the stock trans alive for a little while hopefully. And I haven't really looked into the dual hpop much but ik an upgrade is due around 225. I'd like to be closer to 7. Plan on eventually getting other little stuff once I get it up and running good like water meth, ficm tune, ported intake and maybe aftermarket manifolds
